Im going somewhere someday. FTW.
So. I will be completely honest. I most likely will not pass my junior year. Im almost definitely going to have to repeat this grade.
The chanes of me making it out of highschool with a diploma are 50/50. depending if I double up next year. Because eventually I might end up dropping out. GED. Wich.. Wasnt what Ive ever planned for. But I have options. I can go to community college. Wich I am perfectly fine with. Some of the most powerful people didnt go to college or get their diplomas. Im going somewhere with art. Wich I most definitely have options with. I can draw/paint. I can sew. Considerably well, though I dont have all that much experience. I know how to use photoshop and video editing programs. And I can do graphic design. I know how to make a large assortment of accessories, jewelry and synthetic dreads. I can do both hair and makeup. Modeling is something I obviously want to pursue. And I know how to use the internet to my advantage in many ways. All the things I want to do dont require some rich bitch college. Maybe a few business/management courses. And im already trying to create my own online business. Except the main thing I want to do in life, im absolutely certain of... is to go to japan and study art, fashion and language(obviously).
No one can tell me I dont have plans. Ive had my shit figured out since 9th grade practically. My options have grown larger in the past year. And im still learning. Literally the only USEFUL things ive learned in school are how to use a sewing machine, cook, how to make certain types of jewelery, and photoshop. Ive grown on my own outside of school. Oh and maybe how to read and write but that shits elementary.
Im never going to use Trig. Im not going to be an accountant or someone who uses complex math. except for calculating business costs and such.
English is basic. Ive learned more vocab from books then from classes.
Science. I actually love. And environmental Science is my absolute favorite science course EVER.
History. Is history. and is taught so that we dont make the same mistakes our ancestors made. Its helpful in its own way.
People can argue with me on this. Idgaf.
Im going somewhere and it wont be a desk job.

Yeah, school can seem useless. I found the only thing useful in college are things the teacher say beside the book work. it was like that in high school, but only the economics and history teachers really bother to talk about real time stuff. I never wanted to do desk work. I wanted to be a labor...but if I can't, then I'll trade pictures for food : p. my hobby is to be an inventor/madd scientist hehe : p

ReplyDeleteI dont like to say that school is useless to me...but it really is. I know that it is important for most people to make it through highschool. People who dont have anything except their brain or sports to use after they get out of highschool, those kids that dont have talents or hobbies that they excel in. I actually cannot wait to take economics. Its seems interesting to me. But even our History teachers dont talk much about things going on real time it seems. sadly. English teachers talk more about it actually. Like when ACTA and PIPA were being fought about. my history teacher barely mentioned it :( But because of my presence on the internet and how much my future depends on the internet I was pretty worried and involved in it.

You can have SO many more options if you finish your senior year and graduate! You can still pursue modeling and art, and every aPplication looks better with a high school diploma!
This is 100% your choice, and I realize school is a pain in rhe ass, But it's a really good step to take.
